During the first 6 months after account opening, a promotional APY of 5.00% applies to that portion of the total account balance within the first tier, up to $2,499.99. The standard tiered APYs displayed apply to the remaining portion(s) of the account balances above the first tier. Dividend rates are tiered; different portions of the total account balance earn different rates. The APY reflects a blended rate based on the portion of the total balance in each tier, and if held to maturity. Dividends accrue daily and are paid monthly.
